About Us
The Adopt-A-School Day project is being hosted by the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees, which is a local chapter of the Hawaii Jaycees, the United States Junior Chamber, and Junior Chamber International.
We are a not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization made up of tomorrow’s leaders and today’s up-and-coming young professionals, dedicated to leadership, individual development and community service.
We are young people, ages 18 through 40, who have come together for a common purpose: creating positive change in our community and in ourselves while having a great time.
We represent a variety of occupations, interests, and social and economic backgrounds. Each chapter within the Hawaii Jaycees has its own unique focus area, which are represented through their signature projects which include the Dragon Boat Race, Annual Filipino Fiesta, Manoa Craft Fair, Hawaii County Fair, Special Olympics, and the Cherry Blossom Festival to name a few.
